Hello, I'm Daniel. And this is all about crafting, make-up prosthetics, creativity and cosplay.

I love making stuff!

I always have, actually. But a few years ago I came into contact with cosplay for the first time and thought it was really great what people were creating. Not only because of the actual creativity, but also because they had to know so much for it. Sewing, crafting, they had to know about material science and, and, and.

I wanted to be able to do that, too. Because at the same time I was also at my first convention, a Comic Con. But how do you do all that? How does it work? What do you need for it? I had so many questions. And YouTube and the Internet had the answers.

How it began

So I got started. First of all with EVA foam and Worbla. Then I quickly realized that I also had to learn to sew. And always in the room was a dream I had as a child: make latex masks like in my beloved Star Trek.

The Internet was a big help with the latter, too. I subscribed online to a special effects school in the States and watched hour after hour of classes. And learned a lot about silicone, latex, foam latex, mold making, airbrushing and much more.

I have learned a lot over the last few years. And of course I'm learning more and more with every project. And I want to share that with you. Because all the crafting makes me a lot of fun and it is insanely interesting what you need to make beautiful things.

Join my journey!

Star Trek, aliens, monsters, costumes, prosthetics, special effects makeup, plotters, screwing, gluing, 3D printing, resin, resin, silicone, latex, foam latex... there is so much that is fun. I try a lot of new things because at the end of the day, every new skill I learn contributes to my creative outlet. So let's see where the journey is going.

Inspire me!

Vielleicht habt ihr ja auch Ideen, Inspirationen, Fragen oder Anregungen. Share them with me! Creativity lives from exchange. Maybe I can help you with my experience. Or you have a great idea what you could try out. Keep it coming. Let's see where the journey takes us!
